Career Plan

I have a number of career interests and aspirations which have developed during my time at university and at work placement. By the end of 2015, I will:

Complete my Honours thesis on women in planning and gendered spaces
Gain further experience within the planning industry or continue in my current position
Graduate from University with First Class Honours in November

After this, I will look for further experience within the planning industry. I am particularly interested in aspects of social planning and I am aiming to gain experience within the field. I am also aiming to gain experience within strategic planning.

I have enjoyed working in the public sector and will aim to continue to do so. I hope to have a senior position within the public sector within five years, managing a small team. My long term goal is to become one of the best in her field, through becoming a department or division director.

I understand that circumstances and opportunities can and will arise in the future, so I will continue to evaluate my career plan as time progresses.
